Hint-Hangman is a five-round word guessing game with a strategic twist: you can spend lives to buy hints rather than purely relying on letter guesses.
Click New Game to choose a maximum word length, a difficulty level, and whether to stick to youth-safe vocabulary.
Each round you guess letters one at a time, but if you're stuck you can reveal the word's definition for a one-life penalty, uncover a random non-first letter for two lives, or give away the first letter for three.
Your score is based on word length and letter variety, minus deductions for wrong guesses and hints used β so the fewer lifelines you use the bigger score you'll get. A green or red LED lights up after each round, and at the end you can share your five-round result.
